Labour’s new campaign video is called “What David Cameron Has Done In Five Years”. The Party gave The Skibbereen Eagle an advance look at the advert, which cuts together clips pulled from news broadcasts to highlight “what the Conservatives did in five years”.
The package, produced by Labour’s digital campaign team, will be pushed across the party’s Facebook and Twitter channels later on Thursday morning. Its release is timed to coincide with tonight’s final TV leaders’ debate for challenger parties, which will feature Labour leader Ed Miliband alongside the leaders of UKIP, the SNP, Greens, and Plaid Cymru.
As one insider responsible for the new Labour video explained: “The rationale is that it’s ahead of the challengers’ debate, which Cameron has ducked because he can’t defend his record.”
